Regarding Henry (1991) - Dad Building

Imagine a 'vegetable' Indiana Jones?  This movie is about being a man.
Harrison Ford is Henry Turner the big shot lawyer who becomes of victim of the New York City streets.  Completely the opposite of his trademark bravado, through most of the movie, he's helpless and recovering from rehab after near fatal bullet wounds. Actually, Henry discovers he hates his former person: closer to the true Harrison Ford roles we know, the self-confident, boastful, alpha male.  He begins a soul-searching venture that answers the question 'does every human have his price.'
J. J. Abrams was flexing competent writing skills.  There were some tear-filled moments.  The most inner bonds like the precious love relationship between a dad and his daughter Rachel (Mikki Allen), infidelity from his wife Sarah (Annette Bening), and redemption are explored.  In a world wracked by divorce, this flick offers interesting options for every family member, especially for the much besieged role of a dad.
Wow, my Millennials didn't want us to leave to dinner until it finished.  Love for family cures many evils, and it is a topic not developed enough genuinely scene-by-scene. The suspense builds until the end!  We don't know which Harrison Ford will win through until the final play.  Once you know though, there isn't much material to make me watch it again.  Thus, I'll place it on the GOAL LINE.
